LOCKPORT, N.Y. (July 12, 2005) – Cornerstone Community Federal Credit Union (FCU), headquartered in Lockport, N.Y., awarded Debra Hoover of Sanborn, N.Y., a $1,000 gift certificate to Stedman Nurseries. The gift certificate was part of a grand prize drawing during Cornerstone’s spring loan sale promotion. Hoover signed up for an auto loan at an indirect lending location, which automatically entered her into the raffle.

“I was completely shocked when I received the call,” said Hoover. “I didn’t think anything of the raffle when I signed up for my auto loan, and a few weeks later I was notified that I had won the prize.” Hoover’s Sanborn home features a large yard where she enjoys spending time gardening and planting flowers. “I love to work in my yard, and I look forward to using the gift certificate this summer.”

The prize was awarded to Hoover by Cornerstone president and CEO Ann Brittin and Stedman Nurseries president Joel Campbell.
