AlertMe monitors your Experian credit file daily. New accounts, credit cards over the credit limit, and address changes are just a few of the items that AlertMe monitors. If an activity occurs, AlertMe will send you an email alerting you to the activity. You can log into the service on our web site to read details about the activity and determine whether it is suspicious. AlertMe will also send an email to remind you to order your annual free credit reports.

All active OASIS account holders can now enjoy the benefits of free bill pay! On May 1, the former $7 per month charge for this service was waived for all members who utilized any of the online banking services OASIS offers within the previous two months. This service will continue to be offered at no charge to active OASIS account holders, with a $7 monthly fee charged to account holders who have not used their account for two consecutive months. Continued inactive OASIS account holders will be charged this fee for a total of four months and, after six months of non-usage, the account will be closed.

Accessing your OASIS account is as easy as visiting www.cornerstonecommunityfcu.org and logging into the system, where you can quickly view balances and account history, transfer funds between accounts or pay a bill. Log on today!

In late 2004, Cornerstone introduced its indirect lending program with local vehicle dealerships. Now Cornerstone members can get a Cornerstone loan right at any one of the participating dealerships. So if you are shopping for a new or used car, motorcycle or RV, make sure you ask for a Cornerstone loan at one of these participating dealerships:

Members can purchase use of safe deposit boxes at the South Transit Road facility in Lockport. Prices are as follows:

$25 for a 3” x 5” box
$35 for a 3” x 10” box
$60 for a 5” x 10” box
$70 for a 10” x 10” box

Paper Travelers Cheques will no longer be available for purchase after December 31, 2007. As a result of the changing marketplace – the decline in paper Travelers Cheques acceptability and the greater acceptance of TravelMoney cards, Cornerstone will no longer be able to sell paper Travelers Cheques. If you have purchased paper Travelers Cheques, they will still be honored after December 31st.

Visa TravelMoney is a prepaid reloadable Visa debit card, which offers a safe and convenient alternative to Travelers Cheques and cash. TravelMoney cards are different from gift cards because they can be used to get cash from ATM machines and may be reloaded from anywhere online or by phone. While Visa Gift Cards are available in any denomination from $25.00USD to $500.00USD, Visa TravelMoney Cards may be purchased or reloaded in any amount from $250.00USD to $9,999USD and can be used anywhere VISA is accepted worldwide. VISA gift cards and Visa TravelMoney cards will continue to be available for purchase at all of our locations for our members who don’t want to travel with large amounts of cash.
